Preventive & Predictive Maintenance (PPM):
Develop and execute scheduled maintenance programs for CNC/VMC spindles, ball screws, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and coolant filtration units.
Utilize condition-monitoring techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, and oil/lubrication analysis to catch wear and tear before part-rejection or catastrophic failure happens.
Breakdown Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis (RCA):
Rapidly diagnose electrical, mechanical, or CNC/PLC control faults (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi) during sudden machine stoppages.
Conduct RCA and FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) to permanently eliminate recurring defects on high-volume automotive component lines.
Upholding Dimensional Accuracy & Quality Compliance:
Coordinate with quality and production teams to verify that machine geometry, backlash, levelness, and axis alignment meet strict automotive component tolerances (often in microns).
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 (automotive quality management) and local safety/OSHA regulations.
OEE & Reliability Optimization:
Track and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) like OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), and MTTR (Mean Time to Repair).




Drive Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives, training machine operators on autonomous daily checks (cleaning, minor lubrication, and visual inspection).
Spare Parts & Inventory Management:
Manage critical spare parts inventory (bearings, seals, ball screws, electrical cards, cutting fluid filters) to balance high availability with lean budget constraints.
Identify and source cost-effective or OEM-approved replacement components.
CMMS & Documentation:
Operate and update a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to log work orders, track history, and schedule interventions.

Qualification : Diploma / BE (Mechanical / Electrical) Experience : 5 to 7 yr in CNC / VMC Machine Shop

Industry Type : Autoparts Mfg.
Maintain audit-ready documentation for machine history, calibrations, and safety check-ups.
