Key responsibilities
Run the whole plant, with responsibility for production, quality, safety and cost.
Manage day-to-day operation of aluminium and copper furnaces (melting, refining, casting).
Plan production, raise recovery/yield and reduce melting loss, fuel use and downtime.
Handle furnace maintenance, refractory, burners and process improvement.
Ensure safety, pollution control and compliance (GPCB, factory rules).
Lead supervisors, operators and technicians.
Report production, stock and cost figures to management.

Requirements
Hands-on knowledge of aluminium and copper furnace technology (rotary, reverberatory, induction, etc.).
Experience leading a team of 30+ people.
Positive knowledge of factory and environmental compliance.
Diploma/B.Tech in Metallurgy,



Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred.
