Key Responsibilities
Plant Operations

Management
Oversee daily plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and dispatch.
Ensure achievement of production targets as per business plan.
Optimize resource utilization (manpower, machinery, materials).
Production

Planning &
Control
Develop and implement production schedules.
Monitor output, efficiency, and downtime.
Ensure minimal wastage and maximum productivity.
Quality

Assurance
Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Implement quality control systems and continuous improvement practices.
Handle customer complaints and ensure corrective actions.
Cost Control &
Budgeting
Prepare and manage plant budgets.
Control operational costs and improve profitability.
Identify cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
Maintenance &
Asset Management
Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery.
Improve equipment reliability and uptime.
Plan for upgrades and recent installations.
Safety &
Compliance
Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and environmental regulations.
Implement safety policies and promote a zero-accident culture.




Conduct regular audits and training programs.
Team Management &
Leadership
Lead, guide, and develop plant team including production, maintenance, and support staff.
Drive performance management and employee engagement.
Build a solid second line of leadership.
Inventory &
Supply Chain Coordination
Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams.
Ensure smooth inward and outward material flow.
Continuous

Improvement
Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies.
Drive process improvements and operational excellence.
Encourage innovation and automation.
Reporting &
MIS
Prepare and present MIS reports to management.
Track KPIs such as OEE, productivity, rejection rates, and costs.

Qualifications &
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial) / MBA
8–14 years of experience in manufacturing/plant operations
Minimum 5 years in a leadership role managing a plant

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
