URGENT HIRING – QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER (SAW PIPES)

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering

Job Requirements
Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
2–4 years of experience in SAW Pipe manufacturing and Quality Control.
Practical knowledge of SAW welding processes and welding parameters.
NDT Level II certification will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare hydrostatic testing and dimensional inspection reports.
Verify heat numbers, dimensions, welding quality and customer specifications.
Monitor SAW welding quality, weld seam condition and NDT inspection results.
Coordinate with TPIA for inspection, final approval and product stamping.
Ensure hydro testing, painting, marking and stenciling as per approved plans.
Monitor in-process and final inspection activities.




Prepare daily / weekly inspection reports and communicate status through email.
Raise and maintain NCR reports for quality-related issues.
Track monthly repair, rework and rejection data.
Maintain WTC documents, inspection checklists and ISO / API audit records.
Ensure calibration validity of all measuring and inspection instruments.
Ensure compliance with approved WPS / PQR and applicable quality standards.

Preferred Candidate
Candidates with hands-on experience in SAW Pipe manufacturing.
Valuable knowledge of quality documentation and inspection procedures.
Solid coordination and reporting skills.

Khardi, Thane, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
