– Junior Purchase Engineer

Industry: Chemical / Chemical Manufacturing

Location: Head Office (HO)

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 3 Years

CTC: ₹5–6 LPA

Department: Purchase

Reporting To: VP – Purchase / Head – Commercial

Key Responsibilities
Handle CAPEX procurement for chemical plants and manufacturing projects.
Procure mechanical equipment such as reactors, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, pipelines, and plant machinery.
Source and develop vendors for engineering equipment and project materials.
Prepare RFQs, compare quotations, and negotiate with suppliers.
Review technical specifications, engineering drawings, and BOQs.
Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Production, and Maintenance teams.




Ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain purchase records.
Handle procurement documentation through SAP / ERP systems.

Required Skills
Experience in mechanical procurement within the chemical industry.
Knowledge of chemical plant equipment and CAPEX procurement.
Vendor development and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of SAP / ERP systems.
Positive communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
