Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee mechanical maintenance activities in hot rolling mills, ensuring optimal equipment performance and minimizing downtime.
Manage SMS (Steel Melting Shop) operations, including DRI (Direct Reduced Iron) handling and billet casting processes.
Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth operation of all mechanical systems, meeting quality standards.
Develop and implement effective preventive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
Collaborate with vendors for procurement of spare parts, consumables, and services related to mechanical equipment.
