Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Programmer cum Operator to handle 5-Axis VMC machines. The role involves CNC programming, machine setup, operation, and producing high-precision components as per engineering drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Program, modify, and optimize CNC programs for 5-Axis VMC machines using CAM software.
Set up machines, fixtures, tools, and work offsets for production.
Operate 5-Axis VMC machines for precision machining.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.;
Select appropriate cutting tools, feeds, and speeds.
Prove out recent programs and support first-article approval.
Monitor machining operations and ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
Perform in-process inspection using Vernier, Micrometer, and other measuring instruments.
Troubleshoot machining and process-related issues.




Perform basic machine maintenance and follow safety and quality SOPs.
Coordinate with R&D; Mechanical Design team for smooth work done.

​ Required Skills & Qualifications:
ITI / Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
3+ years of hands-on experience in programming and operating 5-Axis VMC machines.
Proficiency in CAM software such as SolidCam or similar.
Experience with CNC controllers for Mitsubishi
Robust understanding of machining processes, tooling, and fixtures.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, or Precision manufacturing.
Exposure to complex geometry and tight-tolerance components.
Knowledge of cycle-time reduction and process optimization.
