Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Safety Officer with a background in corporate interior fit-outs to ensure workplace safety, compliance, and implementation of safety standards across project sites.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of construction and interior fit-out safety practices, site inspections, risk assessments, and statutory safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies at project sites.
Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards and unsafe practices.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company safety standards.
Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
Monitor safety practices during civil, electrical, HVAC, false ceiling, carpentry, and other interior fit-out activities.
Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all workers and site personnel.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and regular safety awareness sessions.
Monitor work permits for high-risk activities, including work at height, hot work, and electrical work.




Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare detailed reports.
Maintain safety documentation, inspection reports, incident registers, and compliance records.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, contractors, and workers to maintain a secure working environment.

Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements
ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) certification is mandatory.
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
Relevant experience as a Safety Officer in construction, interior fit-outs, or project execution.
Solid knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and construction site safety practices.
Experience in handling safety audits, risk assessments, and site inspections.
Positive communication and coordination skills.
Ability to independently manage site safety operations.

Preferred Experience
Experience in corporate interior fit-out projects.
Knowledge of civil, MEP, electrical, HVAC, and finishing activities.
Experience in managing contractor and workforce safety at project sites.
