Job Title: Senior Steward

Big Yellow Door Cafe is looking for a hardworking, well-presented, and customer-focused Senior Steward to join our service team. The ideal candidate should have good hospitality skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to ensure excellent guest service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities
Provide excellent food and beverage service to guests.
Welcome guests and assist them with their seating and dining needs.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
Ensure timely service and proper coordination with the kitchen team.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
Ensure proper table setup before and after guest service.
Assist and guide junior stewards and service staff.
Handle guest requests and complaints politely and professionally.
Maintain proper grooming, personal hygiene, and discipline.
Follow restaurant service standards and standard operating procedures.
Ensure all cutlery, crockery, glassware, and service equipment are properly maintained.




Support the Captain and management team in smooth daily operations.

Requirements
1–3 years of experience in cafe, restaurant, or hospitality service.
Previous experience as a Steward or Senior Steward preferred.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of food and beverage service.
Strong teamwork and customer-handling abilities.
Presentable personality with professional grooming.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
