Job Title: Senior O2C Accountant

Location: Bangalore (Whitefield)

Experience: 3 to 5 Years

Shift: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Japan Shift)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior O2C Accountant to support our Japan business operations. The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) activities, including cash application, accounts receivable, customer account reconciliation, dispute resolution, and month-end close support. The ideal candidate should have solid accounting fundamentals and hands-on experience in O2C/AR processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily cash application and payment posting activities.
Reconcile customer payments and investigate discrepancies.
Monitor and resolve unapplied, unidentified, and misapplied cash.
Perform customer account reconciliations and AR analysis.
Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve payment-related issues.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.




Prepare operational reports and ensure SLA adherence.
Drive process improvements and support automation initiatives.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and process guidelines.

Required Skills:
Robust experience in Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
Hands-on experience in Cash Application, Customer Reconciliation, and Cash Posting.
Valuable understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
Experience supporting international markets, preferably Japan.
Knowledge of Japanese business processes will be an added advantage.
