Nearestate is looking for a motivated SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. You will work with experienced SEO professionals on live projects that affect how our brand and products appear in search results, and learn the full SEO workflow from research to reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Keyword research: identify target keywords, search intent and content gaps (B2B and eCommerce focus)
On-page optimization: write and refine title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal links and image alt text
Content support: research, outline and draft SEO-optimized blog posts and landing page copy
Technical SEO checks: help run site audits for broken links, duplicate content, crawl errors and schema issues
Competitor analysis: track competitor rankings, content and backlinks
Analytics and reporting: monitor traffic and rankings in Google Analytics and Search Console, and help prepare monthly reports
Link building support and keeping up with algorithm updates

Requirements




Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, IT or a related field
No prior experience required; basic SEO knowledge or a personal blog is a plus
Strong analytical skills, comfort with spreadsheets, and excellent written communication
Basic understanding of crawling, indexing and ranking
Curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to meet deadlines

Duration: 3 to 6 months, with a possible extension or full time conversion based on performance. Perks: one-on-one mentorship, hands-on live projects, exposure to qualified SEO tools, a certificate of completion, and a letter of recommendation for strong performers.

Selection: a brief interview and a small practical task, such as a mini keyword research exercise.

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
