Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Senior | Cloud platform & networking | Full time

One of our clients is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer who will own reliability of the full cloud deployment - VNets, private connectivity, SFTP/file-landing paths, app hosting, identity boundaries, and setting promotion - so applications and the data platform stay secure and recoverable.

Key responsibilities
Design and maintain cloud networking (VNets, subnets, NSGs, peering, Private Link / private endpoints).
Operate secure file transfer (SFTP) and storage landing paths, including cert and key lifecycle.
Own IaC (Bicep / Terraform) and promotion for apps, APIs, functions, messaging, and related cloud services.
Hardening: identity (Entra ID), managed identity, Key Vault, least privilege, and network isolation.
Run observability: metrics, logs, traces, alerts, runbooks, incident response, and post-mortems.




Keep app and data-platform deployments aligned (connectivity, storage firewalls, CI gates).
Drive capacity, cost (FinOps), and deployment safety with engineering teams.

Must-have experience
10+ years SRE / cloud platform; production Azure ownership.
Deep VNet / hybrid connectivity and Private Link experience.
Hands-on SFTP or secure file-transfer ops in regulated estates.
IaC fluency(Bicep/Terraform) and GitOps-style change control.
Robust container apps / App Service / Functions, DNS, TLS, and monitoring.

Nice to have
Databricks workspace networking and storage firewall patterns.
Front Door / WAF in front of public entry apps.
Zero-trust / Conditional Access collaboration with security.
