Role Summary: The Payroll Accounting Associate is responsible for end-to-end payroll accounting activities, payroll reconciliations, client query resolution, compliance, audit support, and month-end close activities. The role requires solid accounting knowledge, payroll process expertise, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
Key Responsibilities
Process payroll accounting journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
Perform payroll balance sheet and P&L; reconciliations.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
Investigate and resolve payroll accounting variances.
Respond to client payroll accounting queries within SLA.
Support internal and external audits.
Ensure compliance with payroll controls and statutory requirements.
Drive continuous process improvements.
Monitor payroll KPIs such as accuracy, timeliness, and query resolution
