Job Responsibilities – School Nurse
Provide immediate first aid and basic nursing care to students and staff whenever required.
Attend to students experiencing illness, injuries, or other health-related issues during school hours.
Monitor students' health conditions and identify signs of medical emergencies.
Maintain proper health records, treatment details, and medical history of students.
Administer basic medication as per school policy and parental consent.
Inform parents and school management about any health concerns or emergencies.
Coordinate with hospitals or healthcare facilities for timely medical referrals.
Maintain first-aid kits and ensure the availability of essential medical supplies.
Promote health, hygiene, and safety awareness among students.
Ensure a clean, secure, and hygienic nursing room.
Assist in conducting health check-ups and vaccination programmes whenever required.
Handle medical emergencies calmly and responsibly.
