Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Web Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Windows Server Administration, F5 LTM/GTM, IIS, .NET web application support, VMware vSphere, and Akamai technologies. The candidate should have a solid understanding of networking concepts and experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.
Required Skills & Experience
Overall experience: 8–12 Years
3+ years of experience as a Windows Server Administrator .
3+ years of hands-on experience with F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM) .
3+ years of hands-on experience with F5 Global Traffic Manager (GTM) .
Understanding of and experience supporting IIS web servers .
Understanding of and experience supporting .NET web applications .
Understanding of and experience with VMware vSphere .
Experience with the Akamai technology stack , including:
CDN
Site Shield
API & App Protector
DNS
Experience using tcpdump and Wireshark for network traffic analysis.
Solid understanding of OSI and TCP/IP network models .
Knowledge of LAN and WAN networking protocols and technologies, including switching, routing, and security.
Understanding of Layer 4–7 networking, firewalls, and DDoS protection.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support Windows Server infrastructure.
Administer and troubleshoot F5 LTM and GTM environments.
Support IIS web servers and .NET web applications.
Maintain and troubleshoot VMware vSphere settings.
Support Akamai services, including CDN, Site Shield, API & App Protector, and DNS.
Analyze network traffic using tcpdump and Wireshark.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, application connectivity, and network-related issues.
Coordinate with vendors and manage service levels, contracts, and negotiations.
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure workplace.
Ensure quick problem resolution and maintain service quality.
