Director - Process Adherence & Audit

Key responsibilities

Standards architecture

Establish a single, governed body of operating standards across Food Safety, Quality and EHS.

Ensure standards remain current with regulatory change, business-model changes and emerging operational risks.

Create a consistent framework for policies, SOPs, control points, adherence checks and evidence requirements.

Adherence operating model

– Build the closed-loop mechanism connecting standards, implementation, adherence measurement, deviations, RCA,

CAPA and re-checks.

– Establish the frequency and methodology of adherence checks based on the risk profile of different site types and

processes.

– Ensure measurement is consistent across regions and does not become a checklist-completion exercise.

Operations partnership

– Work with POD, Warehouse and central Operations leaders to embed standards into day-to-day operating processes.

– Ensure ownership of remediation sits with the operating teams responsible for execution.

– Intervene where recurring or systemic non-adherence requires process, infrastructure or operating-model changes.

Risk visibility





– Create a network-wide view of compliance and adherence risk.

– Identify systemic themes, repeat deviations and emerging areas of risk before they result in material incidents.

– Establish explicit escalation mechanisms for critical non-adherence.

Functional leadership

– Build and lead the Food Safety & Quality, EHS and Adherence teams.

– Establish explicit operating rhythms, performance scorecards and capability standards for the function.

– Build deep technical capability rather than relying primarily on reactive field intervention.

Continuous improvement

– Use adherence data, incidents, complaints, regulatory developments and independent Audit findings to continuously

improve standards and controls.

– Ensure recurring issues result in structural changes rather than repeated CAPA.

Leadership reporting

– Provide the COO and business leadership with a explicit view of adherence, critical risk, repeat failures and closure.

– Convert complex compliance issues into actionable business decisions.
