Deputy Placement Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for a agile and results-driven Placement Manager to connect students with career opportunities after their training.

The role focuses on:
Building relationships with students and employers
Identifying job openings
Supporting students throughout their job search
Achieving placement targets for 23 assigned centres
Regular travel between centres and recruiter meetings

Key Responsibilities
Student Relations & Placement Support
Counsel students regarding careers, industry trends and placement processes.
Motivate students to apply for available job opportunities.
Guide students through interviews and placement processes.
Develop strategies to improve selection and joining rates.
Employer Relationship Management
Build and maintain relationships with local recruiters.
Meet employers to understand their hiring requirements.
Promote the organisation's trained students as potential talent.
Generate local job opportunities/TAFs every month.
Job Application Support
Coordinate student data and employer requirements.
Maximise student applications for available jobs.
Guide students through interviews and track their progress.
Identify and resolve placement-related challenges.
Networking & Outreach




Attend job fairs, industry events and networking activities.
Build relationships with industry professionals and placement agencies.
Stay updated on hiring trends and industry requirements.
Data Management
Maintain accurate placement and interview records.
Track employment outcomes and placement statistics.
Prepare placement reports.
Collect feedback from students and employers.
Work Mode

Work From Office (WFO) with regular travel across the city and assigned centres to meet students and recruiters.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business or HR
Minimum 3 years of experience in placement, career counselling, student mobilisation or similar roles
Understanding of IT and BFSI hiring
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Robust networking and relationship-building skills
Knowledge of job portals, social media and networking platforms
Knowledge of resume writing and interview preparation
Proficiency in MS Office and database management

Main Goal

Build employer relationships + generate job opportunities + get maximum students placed + achieve placement targets across 23 centres.
