Role & responsibilities
Establish and develop new suppliers based on quality, cost and delivery requirements.
Lead annual cost-down negotiations and achieve targeted cost reductions.
Source thick lens and reflector injection moulding components.
Conduct supplier risk assessments and establish alternate sources to ensure supply continuity. Manage Engineering Plastics procurement, pricing and supplier negotiations.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve commercial/sourcing-related issues.
Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Production and suppliers for current product sourcing and development.

Preferred candidate profile
Solid technical knowledge of Engineering Plastics.
Excellent analytical, logical reasoning and decision-making skills.
Solid negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
Experience in automotive components / injection moulding is preferred.
Knowledge of automotive lighting components such as lenses and reflectors will be an advantage.

Qualification: B.E. / Diploma in CIPET
