Job Description – Solar O&M; Executive

Department: Operations & Maintenance (O&M;)Designation: Solar O&M; Executive Industry: Solar Power / Renewable Energy Education Qualification:
Diploma / B. Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering
Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)

Experience: 2–8 Years (Relevant experience in Solar Plant Operations & Maintenance)

Job Location: As per company requirement

Job Responsibilities
Monitor and manage day-to-day operations and maintenance activities of solar power plants.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of solar panels, inverters, transformers, HT/LT panels and electrical equipment.
Monitor plant performance, power generation, equipment efficiency and energy output.
Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults, breakdowns and generation-related issues.
Monitor SCADA systems, inverter performance and daily generation reports.
Coordinate with technicians, site engineers and vendors for maintenance activities.
Ensure proper functioning of DC and AC systems, cables, junction boxes and protection systems.
Maintain daily, weekly and monthly O&M; reports, breakdown reports and maintenance records.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and site safety procedures.




Support performance improvement activities to minimise downtime and maximise plant generation.

Required Skills
Positive knowledge of Solar PV systems and power plant operations.
Hands-on experience in solar plant maintenance and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Solar Inverters, Transformers, HT/LT Panels and DC/AC systems.
Understanding of SCADA monitoring and plant performance analysis.
Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Ability to prepare daily generation and maintenance reports.
Positive coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of electrical safety procedures.

Preferred Experience
Experience in Solar Power Plant O&M; activities.
Knowledge of MW-scale ground-mounted solar power plants.
Experience in inverter maintenance, transformer maintenance and electrical troubleshooting.
Candidates with experience in Solar EPC and O&M; projects will be preferred.

Suitable Candidates: Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. Electrical or EEE candidates with relevant Solar O&M; experience.
