About the Job

We are hiring an Accountant for our petrol pump in Wadakkanchery Town , Thrissur .You will manage daily sales accounting, cash and digital payment reconciliation, GST filing, and monthly reporting. Experience in a petrol pump or retail business is preferred.

Responsibilities
Prepare daily sales reports from nozzle readings (Petrol, Diesel,)
Reconcile fuel sales with dip readings and stock registers
Match shift-wise cash collection with sales, and reconcile UPI, card, and fleet card payments with bank statements
Maintain books of accounts in Tally (cash book, bank book, ledgers, trial balance)
Track purchases and payments to the oil company (IOCL )
Maintain credit customer ledgers, raise bills, and follow up on outstanding payments
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and handle TDS/TCS




Process monthly payroll and assist with PF/ESI compliance
Coordinate with the CA for audits and annual filings
Submit daily and monthly MIS reports to the owner

Requirements
B.Com /BBA/ M.Com or equivalent
2–3 years of accounting experience
Proficiency in Tally Prime/ERP , Zoho Books and MS Excel
Working knowledge of GST and TDS
Honesty and solid attention to detail
Malayalam and English ( required), Hindi(preferred)

Schedule
9am to 6pm Day shift, 6 days a week
Occasional extra hours at month-end and filing deadlines

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
