Job Summary

Amcare Hospital is looking for an experienced and responsible Ambulance Driver to safely transport patients during emergency and non-emergency situations.

Eligibility
Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) / Heavy Driving Licence is mandatory.
Minimum 1–3 years of driving experience.
Previous ambulance/hospital driving experience preferred.
Valuable knowledge of local routes and traffic rules.
Physically fit and capable of assisting in patient shifting.
Responsible, punctual, disciplined, and able to work under pressure.
Willing to work in rotational/night shifts.

Key Responsibilities
Safely transport patients to and from the hospital, emergency locations, and other healthcare facilities.
Drive the ambulance carefully while following traffic rules and hospital protocols.
Assist medical/nursing staff in shifting patients when required.
Check ambulance condition,



fuel, tyres, brakes, lights, siren, and other essential equipment.
Keep the ambulance clean, hygienic, and ready for emergency use.
Maintain ambulance trip, fuel, and maintenance records.
Report any vehicle breakdown, accident, or mechanical issue immediately.
Coordinate with the Emergency Department and hospital staff.
Maintain qualified behaviour with patients and attendants.
Respond promptly to emergency transportation requirements.

Salary

Salary: Depends on experience and interview performance.
