About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting, GST compliance and ITR-related work. The ideal candidate is comfortable with Tally, accurate with numbers and, preferably, familiar with the billing and documentation patterns of freight forwarding or logistics companies.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Tally (sales, purchase, receipts, payments, journal and contra entries).
Prepare sales invoices, debit notes and credit notes for freight, handling, clearance and related services.
Record and verify vendor bills (shipping lines, airlines, transporters, CHA, warehouses) and match them against job files.
Track customer receivables, send payment follow-ups and maintain outstanding and ageing reports.
Reconcile bank statements, vendor ledgers and customer ledgers on a regular basis.
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconcile with GSTR-2B and books.
Handle GST matters related to logistics services, including place of supply, reverse charge (RCM) and export of services.
Assist with TDS calculation, deduction, payment and return filing.
Support preparation of ITR data, tax computation and audit schedules in coordination with the CA.
Prepare monthly MIS reports,



trial balance and job-wise or shipment-wise profitability statements.
Assist during statutory audit and year-end closing.

Required Skills
Proficient in Tally (Tally Prime / ERP 9).
Working knowledge of GST return filing and reconciliation.
Basic knowledge of Income Tax / ITR and TDS.
Positive command of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas).
Robust attention to detail and ability to meet compliance deadlines.
Valuable communication skills in English and the local language.

Preferred (Added Advantage)
Experience in a freight forwarding, shipping, CHA or logistics company.
Familiarity with shipment documents such as Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, shipping bill, bill of entry and job sheets.
Understanding of multi-currency billing, forex gain/loss and export-import documentation.
Experience with e-invoicing and e-way bill generation.

Qualification
B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent.
Additional certification in Tally, GST or accounting is a plus.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
