Job Descritpion of Palantir Data Engineer

6 to 8 Years Relevant Experience

Key Responsibilities
Ingest, clean, transform, and enrich data for use in Palantir Foundry.
Design and implement scalable data pipelines to manage data flow within Foundry.
Develop and maintain data ontology for effective data modeling and interpretation.
Integrate diverse data sources using Palantir’s data connectors.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and deliver Foundry-based solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve data quality, access, and performance issues.
Contribute to application development and analytics solutions using Foundry tools.
Apply data analytics and ML techniques for insight generation.
Promote best practices and foster knowledge sharing on big data technologies across the organization.





Must-Have Skills
Proficiency in Python and PySpark (minimum 4 years).
Robust experience with SQL, BI tools, and data analysis.
Hands-on experience with Palantir tools:
Data Connection, Ontology, Code Workbook/Repository,
Contour, Quiver, Workshop, Slate.

Desirable Qualities
Proficient in English (verbal and written communication).
Robust problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
Ability to produce clear and helpful documentation for technical and business teams.
Encourages cross-team knowledge sharing.
Collaborative team player with the ability to tackle complex technical and business issues.
