Job Summary

Keynode Developers is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented 2D Draftsman cum Estimator who can prepare construction drawings using AutoCAD and independently handle quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation based on architectural and structural drawings.

The candidate must have practical knowledge of both 2D drafting and construction estimation.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare 2D construction drawings using AutoCAD.
Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed working drawings.
Take accurate quantities from drawings for civil and construction works.
Calculate quantities for concrete, masonry, plastering, flooring, painting, and other construction activities.
Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and detailed cost estimates.
Estimate material quantities, labour requirements, and project costs.
Verify measurements and identify discrepancies in drawings and quantities.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, and site teams.




Revise drawings and estimates based on project requirements.
Maintain proper documentation of drawings, quantities, and estimates.

Required Skills
Valuable working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
Ability to independently prepare and modify 2D drawings.
Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Practical knowledge of quantity take-off from construction drawings.
Ability to prepare BOQ and cost estimates.
Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and measurements.
Basic to good working knowledge of MS Excel.
Accuracy, attention to detail, and time management.

Qualification
Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or a relevant technical qualification.
Candidates with relevant practical knowledge in 2D drafting and estimation may also apply.

Preferred Candidate
Candidates who can independently manage both 2D drafting and estimation.
Candidates with practical knowledge of residential and commercial building projects.
Freshers with robust practical knowledge may also be considered.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
