Arshak Architects is an award-winning design studio in Manjeri, Kerala, working on projects across India, the UAE and the UK. Our work spans residences, apartments, malls, hospitals and interiors, rooted in Kerala's vernacular tradition and contemporary tropical modernism.

We are looking for a Studio Architect to take ownership of projects in the studio, reporting to our Studio Lead. You will run your projects day to day, keep clients updated and work with our working drawing, permit drawing and site coordination teams to deliver them.

What you will do:
Develop projects from concept through schematic, design development and good-for-construction drawings
Handle day-to-day client communication on your projects: presentations, design revisions, timely responses and meeting minutes
Check drawings from the working drawing and permit drawing teams before they go to the Studio Lead for approval
Prepare and follow through permit submissions with local bodies under KPBR / KMBR
Coordinate with structural, MEP and other consultants on commercial and healthcare projects
Make regular site visits, answer site queries and check that work matches drawings
Guide junior architects and draughtspersons on your projects
Report progress to the Studio Lead and raise design and client issues early

What we need:




B.Arch with Council of Architecture registration
5 to 8 years of practice experience, including at least one commercial or healthcare project (mall, hospital, apartment or similar)
Hands-on experience getting permits through Kerala local bodies under KPBR / KMBR
Strong AutoCAD skills; SketchUp and a rendering tool such as Lumion, Enscape or D5
Fluent Malayalam and English, spoken and written
Quick, transparent and skilled client communication
Based in or willing to relocate to Malappuram / Calicut

Good to have:
Revit or another BIM tool
Experience leading a small team

What we offer:
Salary of Rs 40,000 to 50,000 per month based on experience
Quarterly performance bonus linked to KPIs

Studio hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. This is a full-time, studio-based role with regular site visits; it is not a remote position.
