Lakhotia College of Design is looking for passionate and skilled Fashion Design Faculty to teach and mentor students across all core Fashion Design subjects through practical and industry-oriented learning.
Key Responsibilities
Teach core subjects including Fashion Illustration, Design Development, Pattern Making, Garment Construction, Draping, Textiles, Fashion Styling and Fashion Merchandising.
Conduct practical sessions, assignments, design projects and assessments.
Guide students in garment development, collection design and portfolio creation.
Teach Digital Fashion Illustration and Digital Pattern Making, where applicable.
Prepare lesson plans and practical exercises.
Mentor students and keep teaching aligned with current fashion industry trends.
Eligibility & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design is mandatory.
Minimum 2 years of teaching or relevant industry experience.
Solid knowledge of core Fashion Design subjects and practical techniques.
Knowledge of Digital Illustration, Digital Pattern Making and CLO 3D is an added advantage.
Valuable communication and presentation skills.
Passion for teaching and mentoring aspiring fashion designers.
