Operation Theatre Technician (Fresher)

Position: Operation Theatre Technician
Department: Operation Theatre – Gynaecology & Laparoscopy
Experience: Fresher/ Experience
Qualification: Diploma / B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or equivalent.

Job Responsibilities
Assist surgeons and gynecologists during laparoscopic (LAP) surgical procedures.
Assist in hysteroscopy and other gynecological surgical procedures.
Prepare and arrange OT instruments, equipment, and surgical consumables before procedures.
Assist the surgical team with instrument handling and passing during operations.
Maintain aseptic techniques and follow infection control protocols.
Assist in preparing laparoscopic instruments, camera systems, monitors, and other OT equipment.
Support patient positioning and OT preparation under the supervision of senior staff.
Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and storage of surgical instruments.




Check the availability and functionality of OT equipment before every procedure.
Maintain OT cleanliness, safety standards, and proper documentation.
Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and other OT staff.

Required Skills
Basic knowledge of Operation Theatre procedures.
Interest in laparoscopic and gynecological surgical procedures.
Familiarity with LAP instruments, hysteroscopy equipment, and surgical accessories is preferred.
Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Willingness to learn and assist in different surgical specialties.

Preferred Exposure
Laparoscopic procedures.
Diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy.
Gynecological surgeries.
Other minimally invasive surgical procedures.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
