Job Summary

To assist in performing X-ray examinations under the supervision of qualified radiology staff, ensuring patient safety, proper positioning, and quality imaging while gaining practical experience in radiology procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in performing X-ray examinations under the supervision of qualified technicians.
Prepare patients for X-ray procedures and explain the examination process.
Assist with proper patient positioning to obtain accurate images.
Follow radiation safety protocols and use protective equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of X-ray equipment.
Ensure patient identification and verify examination requests.
Assist in maintaining patient records and radiology registers.




Follow infection control practices and hospital protocols.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Attend training sessions and improve technical knowledge and skills.

Qualifications
Bsc Medical Radiology and Technology or equivalent qualification.
Relevant trainee qualification as per hospital requirements.
Basic knowledge of radiology procedures and radiation safety.Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
