Designation: Process Engineer

Location: Thane
Process Optimization

· Operate and monitor utility systems such as chillers, boilers, and vacuum pumps

· Optimize reaction conditions, raw material consumption, and utility usage

· Improve performance of mixing, heat transfer, distillation, crystallization, and filtration processes.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support

· Diagnose and resolve batch failures, process deviations, and equipment bottlenecks

· Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions

· Work with production, quality, and safety teams to stabilize new processes.
Process Development & Scale-Up

· Handle multiple reactors and process equipment including distillation systems, pumps, valves, filters, ANFD, and scrubber systems

· Conduct pilot plant trials and scale-up from lab to commercial production

· Translate lab-scale or kilo-lab processes to commercial scale with minimal deviations

· Perform mass & energy balance calculations and equipment sizing

· Prepare PFDs, equipment lists, plant layouts, and P&IDs;

· Experience with hydrogenation, ethylene oxide reactions, catalyst handling, and high-pressure reactor operations.




Desired Experience

· 3–8 years’ experience in specialty chemicals, agrochemicals, or pharma intermediates

· Exposure to plant operations, GLRs, SS reactors, distillation columns, vacuum systems, and plant trials

· Hands-on experience in process troubleshooting and scale-up.

Educational Qualifications

· Diploma in Chemical Engineering with 3–8 years’ experience in specialty chemicals / pharma / agrochemical intermediates / dyes / pigments /chemicals.

OR

· Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering (Full time from reputed institutes such as (ICT Mumbai, Mumbai University, Pune University, or NIT) with 3 to 08 yrs experience in specialty chemicals/pharma intermediates/agrochemical intermediates/ dyes/pigment intermediates etc.

Pay: ₹345,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
