JOB DESCRIPTION – CNC SETTER

Job Purpose

To set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring accurate machining, product quality, and achievement of production targets.

Key Responsibilities
Perform CNC machine setting, tool setting, and offset adjustments.
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Select and install appropriate cutting tools and fixtures.
Monitor machining operations and ensure production quality.
Conduct first-piece inspection and dimensional checks.
Identify and troubleshoot machining-related issues.
Maintain machine efficiency and minimize rejection.
Follow safety procedures and 5S practices.





Required Skills
Knowledge of CNC machine setting and operations.
Basic knowledge of G-Codes and M-Codes.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Knowledge of Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, and other measuring instruments.
Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience & Qualification
2–5 years of relevant CNC setting experience.
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
