Makeup Artist Faculty
A Makeup Artist Faculty (or Makeup Trainer/Instructor) educates students in the theory, practical application, and business of cosmetic artistry at beauty schools, academies, or vocational institutes
Core Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery: Teach scheduled theory classes and hands-on practical demonstrations for basic, advanced, bridal, HD, and airbrush makeup modules.
Student Assessment: Evaluate student practical work, conduct in-house tests, review project files, and offer constructive feedback.
Lab and Stock Management: Maintain the makeup lab, track daily product/tool inventory, report shortfalls, and place advance orders with management.
Hygiene and Safety: Enforce strict sanitation, sterilization, and cleaning standards for all makeup brushes, tools, palettes, and workstation equipment.
Administrative Tracking: Keep accurate daily attendance records, student progress dockets,



and mentor learners who fall behind in theory or practical skills.
Reporting: Report directly to the Department Head (HOD) or Center Manager.

Key Requirements & Qualifications
Education: A recognized diploma, degree, or certification in makeup artistry, cosmetology, or skin aesthetics.
Experience: Generally 1 to 5+ years of hands-on qualified makeup experience (including bridal or fashion work) and prior teaching or training background.
Technical Skills: Mastery of skin types, undertones, face shapes, product knowledge, and current industry trends (such as HD and airbrush techniques).
Soft Skills: Solid communication, patience, presentation, and motivational skills to guide diverse groups of students

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
