3–6 years of skilled experience building production systems in Rust.
Expert knowledge of core Rust concepts: ownership/borrowing, lifetimes, traits, and async programming (Tokio or async-std).
Must have 2+ years of experience with a web framework such as Actix-web, Axum, or Rocket.
Knowledge of building and consuming REST and gRPC services.
Experience with WebAssembly (Wasm) is a plus.
Relational and/or embedded databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite (via Diesel or SQLx).
Git & Git workflows (GitFlow, trunk-based development).
Docker and Kubernetes basics.
CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
Creative, independent, self-motivated, and willing to learn recent technology.
Robust problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, especially around memory safety and concurrency issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong understanding of systems-level design patterns and performance optimization.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum, TDD, and CI tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, etc.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related engineering field.
