Education and Experience
Qualification:
Master’s degree in Physics or a related field from a recognized university (M.Sc./M.Tech.)
B.Ed. or equivalent teacher education qualification (mandatory)
Experience with Senior School curricula (IB/Cambridge) will be an advantage

Experience:
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant teaching experience in senior secondary education. .

Role Objective:Calcutta International School invites applications from an experienced, passionate, and innovative Physics educator to join our Senior School faculty. The ideal candidate should demonstrate robust subject mastery, uphold academic excellence, and contribute to students’ intellectual and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach Physics to Senior School students with clarity, creativity, and academic rigor.
Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and learning objectives.
Conduct physics laboratories and supervise practical experiments to strengthen conceptual understanding.
Design and implement meaningful assessments, assignments, and examinations.
Maintain accurate academic records and provide constructive student feedback.
Foster a positive, inclusive,



and stimulating classroom environment that encourages inquiry and critical thinking.
Mentor and support students beyond academics, including guiding co-curricular and science-related activities.
Collaborate with department colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support holistic education goals.

Essential Attributes:
Deep subject expertise in Physics with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to integrate cutting-edge pedagogy, digital tools, and laboratory work in teaching.
Commitment to continuous career development and best teaching practices.
Solid organizational skills with an empathetic and student-focused approach.

Desirable:
Experience with international curricula (Cambridge/IB), science fairs, and extracurricular clubs.
Participation in professional science/education organizations or workshops.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹70,000.00 per month
