Hiring: Purchase Engineer

Industry: Industrial Manufacturing / Heavy Machinery
Location: Changodar, Ahmedabad
Experience: Minimum 2 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification

Key Responsibilities:
Handle procurement of technical materials, components, and services.
Coordinate with suppliers for timely material delivery.
Compare quotations and assist in vendor selection.
Prepare and process purchase orders.
Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, and Quality departments.
Develop alternate vendors and support cost-saving initiatives.
Resolve supplier-related quality, delivery, and invoice issues.




Maintain purchase records and procurement documentation.

Required Skills:
Basic knowledge of purchase and procurement in manufacturing.
Ability to understand BOMs and technical drawings.
Valuable supplier coordination and communication skills.
Working knowledge of MS Excel.
Negotiation and vendor management skills.
Cost-conscious and detail-oriented approach.
