Trainee – Embedded Systems Engineer (R&D;)

Role Overview: Job Description

As a Trainee Embedded Systems Engineer in the R&D; team, you will support the design,

development, and testing of firmware and hardware for marine electric mobility solutions,

including Battery Management Systems (BMS), Vessel Control Units (VCU), Electric Drives, and

electric steering systems. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to bridge

academic concepts with real-world product development.

Key Responsibilities

● Firmware & Hardware Support: Assist senior engineers in developing and modifying

microcontroller-based firmware (C/Embedded C) and testing hardware circuits.

● Testing & Lab Debugging: Support bench testing, functional verification, and debugging

of embedded boards using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.

● Communication Protocols: Assist in implementing and monitoring communication

interfaces, particularly CAN bus, SPI, I2C, and UART.

● BMS & Sensor Validation: Participate in calibrating and validating sensors (voltage, current,

temperature) and assisting with BMS testing procedures.

● Documentation:



Prepare test observation sheets, maintain version control using Git, and

assist with technical documentation and reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

● Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).

● Certifications / Add-on Courses: Course or certification in Embedded Systems (covering

microcontrollers, embedded C, and communication protocols like CAN/I2C/SPI).

Technical Skills:

○ Fundamental knowledge of microcontroller architecture (ARM Cortex, PIC, STM32, etc.).

○ Basic proficiency in C/Embedded C programming.

○ Hands-on familiarity with basic laboratory equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, DC

power supplies).

○ Understanding of analogue and digital circuit fundamentals.

● Soft Skills: Eagerness to learn, robust problem-solving mindset, and positive

teamwork/communication skills

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
