panchakarma therapist job description A Panchakarma Therapist administers traditional Ayurvedic cleansing and rejuvenation treatments prescribed by an Ayurvedic physician, while managing therapy room hygiene and patient care. Key Responsibilities Therapeutic Execution: Perform classical Panchakarma and Ayurvedic therapies (such as Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya, and Raktamokshana) strictly according to physician prescriptions. Patient Care & Comfort: Monitor client responses during and after sessions, ensuring proper physical positioning, draping, privacy, and dignity. Pre- & Post-Therapy Support: Prepare therapy spaces, equipment, herbal oils, and medicaments, and deliver clear post-treatment care instructions. Hygiene & Safety: Maintain strict sanitation, sterilization of tools, secure equipment handling, and proper medical waste disposal. Collaboration & Records: Coordinate with doctors, nutritionists, reception, and pharmacy teams, while keeping accurate client treatment records.
