Role Description The Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kottayam. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing financial statements. The Accountant will handle accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank and cash accounts, and support monthly and annual closing activities. The role also includes preparing tax-related documentation, assisting with audits, generating financial reports for management, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. Collaboration with internal teams to provide accurate financial data and support budgeting and cost control activities is expected.
Qualifications
Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.




Hands-on experience with accounting software and proficiency in spreadsheets and other financial tools.
Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills to interpret financial information and support decision-making.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Ability to organize work, manage deadlines, and handle multiple tasks in a rapid-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications in accounting or taxation are an advantage.
Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a corporate or SME workplace, is preferred.
