Role Description The Pastry Chef will be responsible for preparing, baking, and decorating a range of pastries, cakes, breads, and desserts according to established recipes and quality standards. Daily tasks include measuring and mixing ingredients, operating baking equipment, monitoring product quality, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen. The role involves planning production schedules, assisting with menu development and seasonal offerings, and ensuring timely completion of customer and bulk orders. The Pastry Chef will collaborate with the bakery team to manage inventory, reduce waste,



and uphold food safety guidelines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune District.
Qualifications
Robust foundation in bakery operations, including experience in a skilled bakery or pastry kitchen.
Hands-on skills in baking and pastry production, including breads, cakes, and assorted desserts.
Proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques relevant to desserts and baked goods.
Well-developed culinary skills with an understanding of flavor pairing, texture, and presentation.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen sanitation practices.
Ability to follow recipes accurately while also contributing creative ideas for new products.
Good time management, organization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and peak festive seasons.
Certificate or diploma in Bakery, Pastry Arts, or Culinary Arts is preferred but not mandatory.
