Fathima Institute of Medical Sciences, Kadapa is seeking a responsible and compassionate Warden to oversee the well-being and safety of our residents in our girls' hostel. We are committed to providing a secure and supportive workplace for our students/residents.
Role Summary:
The Warden will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the girls' hostel, ensuring a protected, comfortable, and conducive living environment. The ideal candidate will possess robust interpersonal skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a genuine concern for the welfare of young women.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Security:
Maintain a secure and safe environment within the hostel premises.
Enforce hostel rules and regulations, ensuring discipline and order.
Conduct regular rounds and inspections of the hostel.
Manage visitor access and maintain accurate records.
Respond promptly to emergencies and handle any security-related issues.
Resident Welfare:
Provide guidance and support to residents, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere.
Address resident concerns and resolve conflicts effectively.
Act as a point of contact for residents and their parents/guardians.
Organize and supervise recreational activities and events.
Ensure the residents are following the hostels set timings for entry and exit.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate records of resident attendance, leave, and other relevant information.
Manage hostel inventory and ensure proper maintenance of facilities.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
Handle administrative tasks related to resident admissions and departures.
Manage the hostel mess, and ensure the food is of valuable quality.
Counseling and Mentoring:
Provide a listening ear and offer guidance to residents facing personal or academic challenges.
Foster a sense of community and encourage positive interactions among residents.
Be able to identify and report any concerning behaviors.
Emergency Response:
Be trained in basic first aid.
Be able to implement emergency procedures.
Maintain a list of emergency contact numbers.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
