JOB DESCRIPTION

Designation: TGT – Computer Science Teacher

Roles & Responsibilities
To teach Computer Science and Information Technology as per the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
To prepare lesson plans, teaching materials and practical activities for effective classroom learning.
To teach computer fundamentals, programming, coding, MS Office, internet usage and digital literacy.
To conduct practical sessions and guide students in developing computer skills.
To ensure proper utilisation and maintenance of computer systems and laboratory equipment.
To assess students' academic progress through tests, assignments, projects and practical examinations.
To maintain lesson plans, attendance records, assessment reports and other academic documents.
To encourage logical thinking, problem-solving, creativity and technological awareness among students.




To maintain discipline and ensure the proper use of computers in the laboratory.
To stay updated with the latest developments in technology and educational software.
To integrate ICT and digital tools into the teaching-learning process.
To provide academic support and remedial guidance to students whenever required.
To coordinate with the Academic Coordinator and other teachers for academic activities.
To perform any other duties assigned by the Principal or School Management.

Reporting Authority: Principal / Academic Coordinator / HOD – Computer Science.

Primary Objective: To develop students' digital literacy, computational thinking, programming skills and practical knowledge of computer technology.
