Job Description & Key Responsibilities
Develop innovative, functional and aesthetically appealing furniture designs for residential and commercial applications.
Create detailed 2D technical drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
Work with software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino and KeyShot.
Select suitable materials such as wood, metal, fabric and plastics based on durability, aesthetics and cost.
Ensure designs are structurally sound, protected and suitable for manufacturing.
Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production and resolve technical issues.
Optimize designs to maintain quality while controlling production costs.
Develop and test prototypes to ensure functionality, durability and usability.
Coordinate with interior designers, project managers and production teams.
Ensure quality standards, project timelines and design specifications are met.




Manage multiple furniture design projects from concept development to final production.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in:
Industrial Design
Furniture Design
Mechanical Engineering
Or any relevant field.

Required Skills & Experience
2–4 years of experience in furniture design and development.
Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp or KeyShot.
Solid understanding of furniture construction, materials and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of 2D drawings, 3D modelling and prototyping.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to manage projects from conceptualization to completion.

Work Schedule

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Weekly Off: Sundays and 2nd & 4th Saturdays
Age Limit: Up to 47 years

Relocation

Relocation is allowed, provided the candidate is willing to shift to Gurgaon.
