Implements router hardware boards, firmware, and device drivers, performing board bring-up and validation.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, debug, and optimize embedded firmware for network devices
Implement device drivers, bootloaders, and low-level system software for custom hardware
Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate and validate firmware with board-level components
Conduct unit, integration, and system-level testing of firmware modules
Analyze and resolve issues related to performance, stability, and interoperability
Support manufacturing, QA, and field teams with firmware-related troubleshooting

Requirements
Hands-on experience with embedded systems
Experience with firmware development for routers, switches, or network equipment

Nice to Have




Experience with router/switch hardware design at networking equipment companies
Understanding of Layer 2 networking protocols
Familiarity with modular chassis architectures and hot-swap controller firmware development
