Develop clean groom silhouettes that match approved concepts, character references, and art direction.
Create grooming for human characters, animals, creatures, and digital doubles.
Develop feather and specialized groom elements when required by the project.
Optimize grooming for deformation, simulation, rendering, and final shot requirements.
Work independently on defined tasks while collaborating with other artists and supervisors during the look development process
Refine grooming based on feedback from supervisors, directors, and client reviews.

Hair and Fur

Experience Required: 4+ years

Cloth

Experience Required: 4+ years
Create realistic cloth simulations for character costumes and garments.
Simulate natural fabric movement, folds, wrinkles, and secondary motion.
Set up cloth properties, constraints, and collision geometry.
Troubleshoot cloth intersections and simulation issues.
Refine simulations based on animation and supervisor feedback.
Cache and deliver final simulations according to production requirements

Required Skills
Proficiency in Autodesk Maya.
Experience with nCloth, Qualoth, Syflex, or equivalent simulation tools.
Robust understanding of fabric behavior, cloth dynamics, and collision handling.
Knowledge of Alembic caching and production workflows.
Valuable problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Houdini Vellum and Python scripting knowledge are an advantage.
