Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day Stores & Inventory operations, including receipt, inspection, storage and issue of materials.
Maintain GRN, stock registers, material issue slips and other store records.
Ensure proper material identification, tagging, binning and systematic storage.
Monitor minimum/maximum/reorder stock levels and ensure uninterrupted material availability for production.
Conduct physical stock verification and reconciliation; monitor slow-moving, obsolete and rejected materials.
Handle transformer manufacturing materials such as CRGO, copper, aluminium, transformer oil, insulation materials, bushings, radiators, tanks and electrical components.
Assist in purchase activities, including collecting indents, obtaining quotations and preparing comparative statements.
Coordinate with vendors for price, quality, specifications and timely delivery.
Follow up on pending Purchase Orders and maintain supplier documentation.
Maintain inventory through ERP and MS Excel and prepare stock/MIS reports.




Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, Accounts and Purchase teams.
Supervise Store Assistants/Store Keepers/Helpers and allocate daily activities.
Ensure proper material traceability and documentation from receipt to production.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of Stores & Inventory Management and Purchase Coordination.
Good knowledge of Transformer/Electrical manufacturing materials.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
Solid vendor follow-up, negotiation and coordination skills.
Valuable documentation, stock reconciliation and reporting skills.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Stores & Purchase.
Experience in Transformer Manufacturing / Electrical Equipment / Heavy Engineering will be preferred.
Candidates with ERP-based inventory management experience will have an added advantage.
