Location: Branch Offices / Partner Bank Hubs (Pan-India)
Role Overview
Lead and grow the life insurance business through bank partner relationships (e.g., ICICI Bank / Bank Partners). Responsible for maximizing partner branch activation, driving top-line revenue, managing bank stakeholder relationships, and leading a team of Bancassurance Sales Managers.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Management: Build and maintain robust relationships with Bank Branch Managers, Regional Heads, and key bank staff to ensure priority mindshare for ICICI Pru products
Business Revenue & Growth: Drive NBP (Current Business Premium) targets and ensure high product penetration across mapped bank branches.
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and drive performance of Bancassurance Sales Managers (BSMs/CDMs)
deployed across partner branches.
Branch Activation: Ensure maximum active participation from mapped bank staff through continuous engagement, training, and incentive alignment.
Operations & Compliance: Oversee quality of sourcing, persistence rates, clean underwriting, and full adherence to IRDAI guidelines and joint-compliance norms.
Candidate Profile
Education: Graduate / Post-Graduate (MBA preferred).
Experience: 610 years in BFSI/Insurance, with at least 3+ years in a team-leading role within
Bancassurance or Bank Relationship Management.Skills: Relationship management, stakeholder handling, target-driven sales leadership, and deep understanding of life insurance products.
