The Office of Dean of Communications and Alumni Affairs (DCAA) at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) invites applications for the position of Data Science & Automation Intern for a period of 3 months.

About the Role

The intern will support the Communications Office in automating data collection, processing, and reporting workflows. The role involves leveraging programming, data science tools, and AI-enabled technologies to improve operational efficiency while ensuring data privacy.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop automated data collection and data-processing pipelines for the Communications Office.
Build scripts and tools to streamline data collation, organization, and reporting.
Assist in the integration of AI-powered solutions for communication and outreach-related workflows.
Analyze datasets and generate actionable insights to support communication strategies.
Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and ethical AI practices in all projects.
Document workflows,



automation processes, and technical implementations.

Essential Qualifications

Pursuing a B.Tech. or M.Tech. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (Preference will be given to candidates pursuing a Postgraduate degree).
Solid programming skills in Python or R.
Good understanding of data science concepts, tools, and frameworks.
Awareness of privacy, security, and ethical considerations associated with AI systems and data usage.
Ability to work independently and solve technical problems effectively.
Experience with machine learning, data analytics, automation tools, and AI applications.

Duration & Stipend

3 Months with a stipend of 10,000 per month
