We are seeking an organized and charming Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our European-inspired cafe. The ideal candidate will blend strong hospitality leadership with a deep passion for specialty coffee, artisan pastries, and European cafe culture. You will be responsible for creating an inviting, relaxed atmosphere, managing a small but dedicated front-of-house team, maintaining strict quality control over all food and beverage offerings, and driving daily profitability.
Core Duties & Responsibilities

- Atmosphere & Operations: Maintain the cafe's aesthetic and ambiance, ensuring a welcoming, clean, and organized dining and counter area.
- Coffee & Food Quality: Uphold exceptionally high standards for espresso extraction, milk texturing, latte art, and the presentation of pastries and light European fare like tartines, paninis, croissants.
- Staff Leadership: Train baristas and service staff in customer hospitality, advanced espresso techniques, and European style table or counter service.
- Inventory & Vendor Coordination: Manage daily inventory for specialty coffee beans, fresh dairy, artisan bakery items, and imported European retail products while keeping waste to a minimum.
- Financial Administration: Monitor daily sales, manage cash drawers, optimize labor costs against peak morning/afternoon rushes,



and handle basic supplier invoicing.
- Compliance: Ensure absolute compliance with all local health department rules, food hygiene regulations, and safety guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in a specialty coffee shop, bakery, or cafe environment.
- Barista Expertise: Strong, hands-on knowledge of espresso machinery, grinder calibration, extraction ratios, and milk frothing.
- Customer Relations: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with neighborhood regulars and handle feedback gracefully.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with modern iPad-based Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and digital scheduling apps.
- Availability: Ability to work early morning openings, weekends, and select holidays to match peak cafe foot traffic.

Preferred Qualifications

- Formal barista certification or training from a recognized specialty coffee association.
- Basic knowledge of European food culture, pastries, or languages.
- Experience in cross-merchandising retail items etc.
- Experience in similar field is a must.

Pay: ₹26,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
