Part-Time Tech Lead (Full Stack: Laravel + Next.js)

Work mode: Remote, 3 hours daily, with Google Meet calls

About the role
We run 4 live client projects. We need a tech lead who takes full ownership of delivery and leads the developers. You will plan the work, guide the team, review the code and hit the deadlines. We want someone who delivers results, not just someone who logs hours.

Responsibilities

- Own technical delivery on all 6 projects
- Lead and guide the developers, and assign tasks based on each persons strengths
- Break projects into tasks and set deadlines
- Review code and make sure it meets quality standards
- Run daily or weekly Google Meet stand-ups and send progress reports
- Coach junior developers and help them improve
- Fix blockers quickly and handle client technical questions
- Raise risks and delays early, before they hit the deadline

Skills required

Frontend

- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
- Next.js
- Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap
- Responsive, mobile-first design
- Figma to code, with pixel-accurate implementation

Backend

- PHP / Laravel
- REST API development and integration
- MySQL or PostgreSQL:



database design and queries
- Authentication: login, register, OAuth

DevOps / Deployment

- Linux server basics: SSH, file permissions, Nginx/Apache config
- Git version control: branches, pull requests, commits
- cPanel or basic VPS deployment experience

Team leadership skills

- Experience leading a team of 46 developers
- Task planning and sprint or weekly planning
- Code review and setting coding standards
- Mentoring and coaching juniors
- Handling multiple projects and priorities at once
- Using Jira, Trello, ClickUp or similar tools to track work
- Clear communication with developers, designers and clients
- Taking responsibility for delays and fixing them, not blaming others

Digital marketing integration (nice to have)

- Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4
- Meta Pixel integration
- Landing pages and conversion-focused development
- Basic SEO: meta tags, schema, sitemap, robots.txt
