German Language Expert

Requirements

We are seeking a detail-oriented and fluent German Language Specialist / Translator to join our team. In this role, you will handle end-to-end language translation, localized documentation, and real-time verbal interpretation (if required). You will bridge the communication gap between internal teams, global clients, and stakeholder networks by ensuring high accuracy, cultural context, and technical precision in all German-to-English and English-to-German content.

Key Responsibilities

- Translation & Localization:



Translate technical documents, business correspondence, contracts, user guides, and training manuals between German and English.

- Language Quality Control: Review, proofread, and edit localized content for grammatical accuracy, proper terminology, and cultural appropriateness.

- Interpretation Support: Provide real-time bilingual/multilingual interpretation during stakeholder meetings, client calls, or internal syncs when needed.

- Glossary & Asset Management: Maintain consistent language terminology glossaries, style guides, and translation memory banks across projects.

- Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with operational and technical teams to resolve linguistic queries and adapt content for German-speaking markets.

Technical & Role Requirements

- Language Proficiency:

- B2 - B4 proficiency level in German with Goethe-Institut certification (or equivalent recognized framework certification).

- Qualified fluency in English (verbal and written).
