Core cell culture team contributes towards strengthening the company’s portfolio by supplying all the biological samples to develop and validate recombinant antibodies. We develop Knock downs and Knock outs to show the specificity of the antibody and also to very specific models for antibody validation to show specificity. Role & Responsibilities Purpose: Thermo Fisher Scientific is recruiting a Scientist who can foster innovation and improve customer outcomes through development and validation of cell culture workflows, reagents,



and consumables.Responsibilities:Perform cell culture activities and laboratory techniques including aseptic expansion of immortalized cell lines, handling of primary cells and immortal cellsWork with stem cells and perform different type of differentiations to 3D modelsHave good knowledge in Immunology and work with team to develop different type of cell modelsHave to perform transfections and transductionsRegular analysis of cell culture samples, including microscopy, gene expression analysis, Western blot/ELISA, and other related testsInitiate, plan, and execute scientific research with emphasis on cell culture techniques independentlyPrepare customer-facing documents, which include scientific writing and publication-quality images and figures.Keep thorough record of cell culture parameters and results into data sheets and/or electronic notebooksResponsible for data integrity, accuracy,



and analysis.Deliver high quality results according to project schedule in support of current and/or new productsSkills and ExperienceExperimental skills with attention to detail are criticalDifferent type od 3D models and immunological model developmentTransfection and transduction experienceDemonstrated ability to work in teams and mentor junior scientistsStrong understanding and hands-on expertise with culture of multiple mammalian cell types. The ideal candidate will have additional experience with protein biology, molecular biology, or other related disciplines.Experience in primary and/or stem cell work is required.Demonstrated ability to create publication-quality documents. The ideal candidate will have a record of publication in peer-reviewed journals.Superior communication skills, both written and oral.Should be a positive team player, ready to learn new techniques and creative thinker.
